Hello there!
I’m Terri, an energetic, fun-loving, warm-hearted family and wedding celebrant based in beautiful North Yorkshire. I specialise in crafting one-of-a-kind ceremonies – and I’ll happily pop up anywhere, whether that’s across the UK, Europe, or even further afield, to make your day truly remarkable.
Let’s start with this: I adore a good party. Whether it’s a wedding, naming day or vow renewal, I believe life’s milestones deserve to be marked with joy, meaning and a splash of finesse. My role is to help you do just that – by creating a moment that’s completely, unmistakably you.
I’ve spent much of my working life in the arts and charity sectors, where I spent a lot of time writing, connecting with people and telling their stories in ways that really mean something. Now, I have the privilege of using those skills to bring people together, celebrate love and create moments that stick with you and your guests long after the day itself.
I’m a big believer in positivity, inclusivity and making sure everyone feels welcome. Whoever you are, whoever you love, and however you want to celebrate, I’ll work with you to create something totally unique. No templates, no clichés – just a ceremony that’s authentic, heartfelt and unforgettable.
When I’m not crafting ceremonies, you’ll usually find me exploring the countryside or coastline with my hubby and my dog, belting out tunes with my choir or losing my singing voice at a music festival (fun fact: I got engaged at Glastonbury!).
I also love fashion (the brighter, the better), visiting galleries and dabbling in creative writing – whether it’s short stories or helping couples write the vows they never thought they’d have the words for. Basically, if it’s colourful, creative and full of energy, I’m in!
